Angry Video Game Nerd’s “Tiger Electronic Games” Review

It’s time I get around to reviewing the Angry Video Game Nerd (James Rolfe). You may heard of this guy, and with good reason — he basically kicks ass. He often gets pretty angry, thus living up to his name. He is also often very funny, and deserving of his notoriety. With the video in question he has 52,445 likes and only 856 dislikes [when I originally wrote this, at least]. For any Youtube video that is doing extremely well.  I probably haven’t watched all of his reviews. That is because — believe it or not — I have some semblance of a life and can’t see everything in existence. However, there are worse ways to spend your time than checking out his reviews.

Of his reviews, one of my favorites is his review of Tiger Electronic Games (and related odds and ends). Basically, he played a bunch of the games and compared the experience to examining a toilet. Sure enough, he went so far as to play the Full House Tiger game. Remember that TV show? You probably do. Even without playing the game, you can assume it’s an obscenity. Then there’s some strange and terrible bowling game, where “the ball goes straight for the pins, then it disappears.” Why would that happen? Probably because the game sucks. I could give more examples, but you get the idea. In tearing apart these various games, he notes the difference between games that are “old school” and those that are simply outdated. I’m sure you can guess where the Tiger games lie.

I don’t want to give away anymore. That’s a lame thing to do. Just watch it. It is funny.
